Black women have the highest rate of unwed pregnancies. 72% the highest of all races on record in America. 1 out of every 5 black men statistically, are incarcerated or on parole. A high percentage of successful black men marry outside of their race. Still there’s unemployed black men ( the highest in the country) and men who have substance abuse issues. Black women – (especially “successful” ) have a hard time finding a suitable mate of their race.

We follow married couples, Gay and straight- newlyweds to people that have been married for 50 plus years. What’s their secret? We hear their stories about the secrets, successes and pitfalls of marriage, but through it all, they’re STILL MARRIED.
